We have gathered a line-up of local and guest chefs, farmers, musicians, beverage talent and more to bring you an event unlike any other.

This is not your average reunion.

With acclaimed chefs and fantastic music, you’ll get to experience a range of meats, seafood, veggies, and fruits cooked in all different styles.

When we say our roots are important to us, we really mean it. And that includes how our food is sourced too! We are so proud to be working with various local farmers and producers to stay as true to our roots as possible. From raising the cattle to planting grains, fruits and vegetables, these talented farmers are helping us specifically grow items for the event so you’ll be tasting some of the best, freshest, local ingredients!

Our favorite part about BBQ is the way it

brings people together and that’s exactly what we intend to do at Southern Roots.

We have curated the perfect setting, with the best company, cooking together for a cause.

Our hope is that you’ll leave this event feeling like family!

We are excited to announce that we are hosting the first annual

Southern Roots: A BBQ Reunion event in Travelers Rest, SC!

The Southern Roots Reunion stands for bringing a community together through family and friendships, both new and old, for a single cause. We are fired up to share a meal with you as we work together to increase awareness and improve

research on medical genetics while celebrating our community.

Our over a dozen chef pairings will consist of a BBQ Boss teamed up with a local restaurant and one of their favorite patrons/home chefs to create amazing dishes.  Each chef team will represent a family from our charitable partner and

help to raise a minimum of $5,000 towards our cause.

Thank you for joining us on this adventure to bring a BBQ reunion to Greenville! At the end of the day, our goal is to bring everyone together for some damn good BBQ and great friends as we continue our mission to support IDefine and their fight against Kleefstra Syndrome
